It was suggested by the former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, that some of the young girls kidnapped by these Boko Haram may be pregnant, hence they might not be released soon except they find it difficult to cater for themselves and their babies. He expressed sadness while being interviewed by the Hausa Service of the British Broadcasting Corporation, stating that he has access to the Boko Haram sect. however he can't negotiate anything with them because he hasn't been granted the right to do so by the Nigerian FederalGovernment. He goes on further to say that the girls have been divided into groups and may not return.
This is very sad to know. I sincerely hope that efforts put together globally can put an end to this madness and those girls returned safely. God be with the girls.
