KLM flight struck by lightening as it was about landing at Birminham airport.

KLM Plane struck by three lightening bolts

On Friday afternoon in Birmingham, a KLM flight was hit by three lightening bolts as it was about to touchdown at the Birmingham airport in London. Passengers in the Boeing 737 said that they heard a very loud bang and the skies were very dark, as they touched down normallly at the airport, the pilot calmly announced 'Ladies and Gentlemen, you may have noticed we were hit by lightening'. According to a statement released by KLM management, their pilots and crew are well trained to  handle such situation.
